Cartridge Ribbed Scarf; a basic pattern.
Skinny Cartridge Rib Scarf


Size:
-my finished scarf measures approximately 3″x70″
Gauge:
-not important, but something suitable for your yarn/needles. For reference, gauge for the suggested yarn is 17 sts/4 inches in stockinette stitch.
Materials:
-two balls of Lion Brand Cashmere Blend yarn (Aran weight/10ply)
-US size 9 needles.

Instructions:

yf= move yarn between the needles so it is in the front
yb= move yarn between the needles so it is in the back
sl= slip stitch as if it purl

Cast on 15 stitches
Row 1: *K3, yf, sl, yb. Repeat from * across. End with K3.
Row 2: K1, yf, sl, yb, *K3, yf, sl, yb. Repeat from * across. End with K1.

Repeat these two rows until you are almost out of yarn (or patience); bind off.
